And, finally, we have crash in ceph_msg_data_advance() because cursor->data is NULL. It means that get_bvec_at() receives not initialized ceph_msg_data_cursor structure because data is NULL and total_resid contains zero. Moreover, we don't have likewise issue for the case of Ceph msgr1 protocol because ceph_msg_data_cursor_init() has been called before reading sparse data. This patch adds calling of ceph_msg_data_cursor_init() in the beginning of process_v2_sparse_read() with the goal to guarantee that logic of reading sparse data works correctly for the case of Ceph msgr2 protocol. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
